What You Should Read This:
The truth is that end-of-the-world fics normally freak me out but I loved this one. That’s not say it didn’t freak me out–because it did. That being said if the world ended and I had to run from zombie-vampires and I had to pick one fictional character to save me– I’d pick John McClane. The characterization in this story is compelling and thoughtfully shaped by the author. There are moments that will break your heart and some that will make you laugh out loud. The world went out with a whimper when John wasn’t even looking but that doesn’t mean he isn’t prepared to kick major ass. On a side note, Warlock makes me laugh my ass off.
