The remaining heroes band together and share what strength they have to get through it, to survive, and defeat Ultron once and for all. Steve Rogers grieves in the wake of the disaster and the heroes’ defeat, and no one knows if he will be able to provide the leadership they need–but Tony Stark isn’t about to let him slip away that easily.

Why You Should Read This: I’m not a comic book reader so as a result, I’m often at a loss when characters that aren’t from the various movies make an appearance. I have a hard time relating to them and understanding their place in canon. This was not the case with this story. Each character is crafted into the narrative in such a way that you couldn’t imagine them not being in it. The circumstances are tragic, the romance is bitter sweet but lovely all the same. Their circumstances are fucked up but they come into their own. It’s a beautiful, tragic story that ends with a sweet and hopeful romance. Read it. You won’t be disappointed.
