Why You Should Read This: This is an Alternate Universe so you don’t need to have read the books to understand it. Just a general idea of the characters. There are some warnings for past child abuse and PTSD, stemming from the aforementioned abuse but there’s nothing graphic. It’s adorable and heartbreaking and beautiful and it does the characters justice. Johnny Marcone is aloof and amused in turns, Harry is his usual dysfunctional self and Bob is a pervert. So, business as usual then.
This was my first Dresden Files FF, I’m new to the series, super new… like just finished Fool Moon (Which I called Full Moon for a week straight *facepalm*) – Anyway, it was fabulous. Can’t say I ever considered H&J but… it worked for me.
