Why You Should Read This:
The Long Road is another of my favorite Jeeves & Wooster stories. In this story Jeeves is very badly hurt and Bertie helps him recover. It is ansty and there is a lot of lovely hurt/comfort. I also really like the way Bertie pulls himself together and does what he must to help Jeeves. He shows a lot of maturity in this story.
The romance between Bertie and Reg moves slowly but it is very sweet. There is also some interesting back story for Reg. We get to meet some of his family members. The author does an excellent job creating interesting and believable characters.
