Summary: Castiel, a lone alpha wolf, would like nothing more than to be left alone in his house to die. He wants nothing to do with the outside world and doesn’t have anything to offer to anyone. Then, one early morning, a black car crashes into a tree right beside his house. The driver is rendered unconscious and doesn’t remember a thing after he wakes up. He is also an omega, but there’s something very wrong with him.
Why You Should Read This: I’m not a big fan of the A/B/O genre the majority of time but this has charmed me. I enjoy the author’s sensitivity on the power balance between Alpha and Omega (aka Castiel and Dean) and their own troubled dark past that has them scared of a bonded relationship. I love Castiel in this as he still maintain many of his qualities while playing a more dominant role. This maybe my inroad to further reading A/B/O fiction.
Very enjoyable, thanks for the rec. It was strange to see Sam cast as the villain. 😀
