This is a wonderful fusion offering all that I love about Sherlock Holmes (the cases etc) while tossing in the subplot of The Sentinel. I will admit to having a soft spot for fandoms that have a crossover/fusion with The Sentinel.
While this is set within the Sherlock fandom of the 2009 movie, if you prefer you can read it from the perspective of the Sherlock BBC without much trouble.
This fic was actually my introduction to The Sentinel, and I really enjoyed it. I’ve read a lot more Sentinel fics since, and I’ve fallen in love with the fandom a bit. I know nothing about the show, but fanons seem to have a life of their own, so hopefully I didn’t miss much.
