Summary: In less than a year, Steve has been brought back from the dead, adapted to a whole new world, plunged right back into battle again, and moved in with a bunch of superheroes. He’s handling everything remarkably well. Except when he’s not.

Why You Should Read This: This is really well written. Steve’s struggle with adjusting to a new time and to accept himself is at times heartbreaking. I found myself wanting to cry with him. The development of his relationship with Tony is slow and in character. I really liked the way that Steve’s adjustment was addressed and worked through. This is a story that you settle in for the long haul to finish it in one go.
