Title: My Boy Builds Coffins
Author: Waldorph
Fandom: Star Trek (AOS)
Pairing(s): Spock/Kirk
Rating: R-ish
Genre: Dark
Word Count: 2600

Summary:

Jim Kirk was a legend before he was even an hour old, and legends are never men. They are tragedies and heroes and cautionary tales and they never grow up or grow old, they simply are.

Jim Kirk is a pain in Spock’s ass.

Why You Should Read This:

Waldorph’s vision of the Star Trek history is one that I hold dear. This story, however, is a step outside that. Dark, entrancing, it shows the addiction that holds Spock and Kirk together, and shows how their loyalty feeds into something that is not quite right, although if you point that out, you won’t be around long enough to say it.
