Why You Should Read This: Basically, I’ve been recommending this fic to all of my friends ’round the internet since I read it. It’s sweet, funny, and a tiny bit angsty, and, most importantly, it’s incredibly well-written by an author who knows her shit.  The procedural element is there but isn’t overwhelming and certainly isn’t the focus.  While it focuses on Clint, it still manages to be an ensemble piece.  It’s the first in a series that is still being updated and incorporates Agents of Shield and maybe the Young Avengers.  The mixture of long and short fic focus on different characters and relationships and gives you a sense of the entire universe.  The series stands at around 675,000 words, and 2 unfinished long stories are being updated regularly.

For those who don’t do that whole Marvel thing, this is my favorite kind of AU where you really don’t need to know canon to enjoy it, but it certainly adds to it.  I knew very little canon and loved it.
