Epic length, with an intricate plot and wonderfully characterized. As the tag says, everyone gets a cameo. If you’re looking for a long, meaty fic that will suck you in and refuse to let you go, this is the fic for you. I love Harry’s journey in this, from beginning to end, to loathing Gentlemen Johnny Marcone to – well. If Jim Butcher manned up and did something about the sexual tension between these two characters, hopefully it’d go something like this – slow, steady, believable. This is plot plus romance, epic and engrossing. Give it a go : )
Never read Dresden Files, but I decided to read this story cause ‘Why’ was fairly convincing.
