For Severus, everything changes when Harry and his children move into Hogwarts. Albus Severus has taken a liking to him and it seems Harry Potter has a secret.

Why You Should Read This:

It’s just heartwarming. Ginny has died not too long after the birth of their youngest child, Lily, so all three children are present and a key focus of the story.

Albus Severus – and it’s so charming when Al finds that Snape is his namesake, “Are you my Se’brus?” – was devastated by the death of his mother and it’s only at Hogwarts, after accidentally meeting Severus, that he starts to better deal with the loss. And the idea that a Potter is enamored of Potions the way Albus is, is more than interesting to Severus.

It’s through their interaction over the children that Severus finally learns about Harry’s secret and in helping Harry through his problem that the two men become close. There’s the usual reluctance and denial on Severus’ side and the determination on Harry’s along the way but asnowyowl gives us a very happy (and hot!) ending.
