This is a Beauty and the Beast/Stargate Atlantis fusion. The fic takes place in the early 20th century, featuring a young Rodney and a menacing Kolya. I love how this fic mixes canon and the Beauty and the Beast story, using elements of both to weave this fun, angsty tale. This fic made me ache for John, for how alone he was and how unlovable he felt. I loved this Rodney too, and all the side characters: Radek, Jeannie, Ronon and Teyla – if you like AU’s, if you like Beauty and the Beast, then this is a fic not to be missed.
