Summary:

Two years after being reassigned for medical reasons, Commander John Sheppard is recalled by Atlantis to be its Pilot-Captain once again. He’s thrown into a political situation he really doesn’t understand, Atlantis is keeping secrets from him, and—oh, yeah—his ex, Rodney McKay, really wishes he’d kiss off.

Why You Should Read This:

This isn’t quite ‘our’ Atlantis; there’s an AI that requires an interface with a pilot, and esteefee gives a hint that maybe it’s more than just an AI. Ford is alive and Ronon has a new role, at the very end.

In only seventeen thousand words, esteefee builds an entire universe, with new enemies and perils but close enough to the familiar SGA universe that makes it an interesting spin.

And, well, it’s esteefee… it’s well done and a good story!
