The story is slow building, taking a deeper look of Mycroft’s and Greg’s inner feelings in this pre-slash  part 1 of  the series.  And it works, both have personal hurdles to overcome before they are both in a place to take it forward.  And it gets better and better with each part that you read.  You will fall in love with this pair  because 1. they are god damn sexy  and 2. they work well with their multi-grey levels in their lives (infidelity, secret squirrel, violent crime etc).  Kazvl works magic with this pairing and it’s an addictive read.
