Why You Should Read This:
The entire story is from Lex’s POV and its done wonderfully. The characterization is just great, his voice is basically perfect. The premises revovles around Lex ending up mutating a second time, this time with the ability to manipulate sound and becoming what he dreamed of as a chid: a superhero just like Warrior Angel. Lex’s development as a character are slow and brilliant, his relationship with Clark pretty much what I always wanted it to be like. And there’re realistic sex scenes, which is always a plus in this fandom. When I started reading this fic, I was feeling depressed and upset to the point of bursting into tears off and on, and this fic is pretty much solely responsible for me no longer being a little ball of angst.
One of my all-time favorite stories in Smallville Fandom and darn near the top of the list of my all-time favorites in any fandom, this is a great rec.
