Why You Should Read This:
It’s a fun read about two emotionally stunted men who figure out what works for them, what they want for the future, Arthur threatens to murder in his best casual, deadly way and Eames commits a crime against nature (you’ll know it when you see it–Arthur will let you know). The author gives canon a respectful nod which I appreciate in the Inception fandom because the movie was just perfect and awesome as it was created.
It’s a fantastic read from an author I really enjoy and feel “safe” reading. I’m never disappointed and know I’m always in good hands with Eleveninches. 😉
“The moment Eames had met Arthur, a little over three years ago in Yangoon during a job in which they’d spent twenty-six hours locked in a car boot together until Cobb had rescued them, he had known Arthur was bad news. He was entirely too handsome and entirely too competent; he had a dry sense of humour, slim hips that would have fit perfectly in the cradle of Eames’s hands, and a secret weakness for paisley that manifested itself through his tie collection; but Eames was only a gambler when it came to material possessions (namely, someone else’s money).”
Oh wow, this was just… perfect in every way.
I can’t believe I’ve spent this much time not knowing anything about this, really, it’s a travesty.
