They’re back in Pegasus, once again intrepid space explorers, and John couldn’t be happier (the hopeless pining after Rodney is fine, he’s used to it). Unfortunately there’s a catch: Atlantis starts acting up.
Why You Should Read This:
Another in my McShep recs for this week. Written for the last SGA_Santa (Dec 2014).
Atlantis has just gone back to Pegasus and is in the process of settling on a new planet, getting re-acquainted with old allies and making new friends. There’s a little more caution in exploring but life goes on.
Until, of course, Atlantis starts to impinge more on John. He can’t quite talk to her, but she communicates to him in colors and impressions. But doors won’t open and the Jumpers are sluggish, especially when John is on a mission.
Even though Rodney and Jennifer have more-or-less amicably broken up, John keeps his pining for Rodney to himself. Until, of course, something happens that forces our boyz together.
It’s classic SGA, pining and oblivious, with a side-serving of snark.
