Why You Should Read This: There’s a cute movie from 2000 called ‘But I’m A Cheerleader‘ that this is loosely based on. In this story, you’ve got Lorne keeping Sheppard distracted while senior leadership gets together and puts together a list of 345 reasons John Sheppard must be gay. And it all comes as a complete shock to John, even though he likes sparkly curtains, paints his toenails, and has a picture of a male underwear model in his post-mission locker.
The whole fic is just adorably campy, from Rodney trying to set John up with someone, to John walking in on Lorne and Parrish having sex in a supply closet, to Rodney taking John to an off-world gay bar. All in all, this is an adorable fic that deserves a few minutes of your attention.
