Because it’s epic and entertaining and a truly thrilling read that I was completely charmed by. It’s actually one of the first fics I read for the new movie. Just an outstanding job on the character of Kirk.
I’m not finished with this yet but so far it’s great! And I think if there were awards for such things, the award for “Best Line in Fanfic that should be on a T-shirt” should go to this author for “What I’m promoting is the willful suppression of stupid.” FANTASTIC!
Just wanted to say a belated “Thank you!” for this rec! I finished reading Atlas a couple of days ago and am fighting the temptation to read it again. (So much fanfic, so little time….) I just recced it to a friend of mine; hopefully she will like it as much as I did.
This story has this beautiful flow and just seems like the natural extension of the tale of nu!trek Kirk and Spock
Atlas was the first fanfiction I read in the Reboot-Verse, and it was so damn perfect that no other story could compare for a very long time. I must’ve read it half a dozen times by now…
This was such a fantastic fic! I loved it soooo much. It was one of the best fics on FFnet I’ve read. It was suspenseful, and I liked how there were story arcs that each had a different main part. Great fic!
