Why You Should Read This: Fics where Steve navigates and learns about modern times is so fascinating to me, partially because it provides a sort of outside look on things we take for granted. But this is a fun, interesting fic where we learn how Steve comes to define certain words, and there’s beautiful original music based on one section of the fic. Though this fic does have Steve/Tony, the fic is more focused on defining the terms of the new century. Sam_storyteller is a wonderfully talented writer, however, and really makes it work.
