Why You Should Read This:
The ‘A Curse and A Blessing Series’ was one of the first series of fics I ever read in the Stargate Fandom. Prodigal Son introduces us to Jack’s Parents and his Great Aunt Ruth and allows us to see the developing relationship between the two guys. This series will make you laugh out loud and cause a few bittersweet moments. Biblio weaves a wonderful tale through Seasons 4 and 5 of SG1. All parts of the series are linked at the end of each fic. The fourth tale in the series ‘Maternal Instinct’ is only available as a zine, but it is not necessary to read it. Originally the series ended with ‘A Dinner of Herbs’. If I had one reason for you to read these it’s Jack’s Aunt Ruth! She is a pistol!!
