Sam can take any standard trope in any fandom and make is special. Ianto-is-a-time-lord stories are not uncommon in the Torchwood fandom. Pocket Watch Boy is a nice example. But this one is different and I like it best because Ianto has a Tardis. He just doesn’t know it.
