Why You Should Read This:

It’s hilarious.  Col. Dave Dixon is a great character.  The insanity is contagious.

Two things: one, there are other SG-15 stories out there.  I know because I have a compiled copy that includes stories not in this version I found on AO3.  I haven’t been able to find them.

Thing two:  early on, Dixon keeps referring to his team members as “ladies” and “woman” and I was a little annoyed by that, until in later stories it becomes clear that he calls females “fellas” and “lads”, etc.  It actually turns out to be pretty funny, especially when

Teyla sighed. “He is a hard woman to replace. I am not sure I even want anyone else. Maybe Colonel Dixon will let us borrow him now and then.”

That’s right,  even Teyla buys in.  The insanity is, as I said, contagious.
