Why You Should Read This:
When people look at our grandparents, those lovely older folk who lived and loved in the forties, they tend to forget that they were people. My grandfather never let us forget, not until the years took everything away from him. This fic reminds me of that. Reminds me that regardless of time, and era, that people have always been people. I really enjoyed this author’s take on Steve and his choices in life, on his development and his developing attraction to Tony. It all seemed so organic, and so believable. I thought this was just great. Just a note: I didn’t include Phil/Clint in the tags, because it’s just a hint, and I don’t want those really hunting for Phil/Clint fics to pick this one to read because of that tag, then be disappointed.
