As if Sheriff Stilinski doesn’t have enough to deal with, now he’s been attacked by some enormous dog in the forest, and that’s normal compared to what happens next…

Season one re-telling with Sheriff Stilinski being bitten instead of Scott. (Possibly also season 2. We’ll see where it goes. =D)

Why You Should Read This:

If you’re a KouriArashi fan, as I am, you’ve followed this story eagerly. It’s finally finished and I can share it with you – although she’s the first to admit there may (or may not) be more. But this is a finished story as it stands.

What if the Sheriff found both Stiles and Scott that night, before Scott was bit? And, instead of Scott, the Sheriff himself is bit and becomes a werewolf?

Just think. A level headed, intelligent adult who can deal with Peter, and make Peter act like an adult? Someone who can help Derek deal with the loss of his sister and the rest of his family. (Derek never does become the Alpha.) Someone who can talk to Chris Argent as an equal, and point out some hard truths.

There’s still more than enough teen angst to go around, Kate and Gerard being Kate and Gerard, and teen-aged wolves added to the Pack (but more thoughtfully). Scott/Allison happens, but it’s a smaller thread in the entire story. (Again, intelligent adults!)

KouriArashi has firmly named the Sheriff “Tom” – Noah? Really? Just no! – so that takes a little to get used to, but you won’t mind as you read along.

She’s also just created a podfic of this story; as of this posting, the first 11 chapters can be found here: http://archiveofourown.org/works/9818789/chapters/22046543 — The rest will probably follow soon.

  1. Ooo, I have to admit I’m intrigued. Though I’m not sure I can read 80k+ of Sheriff-centric fic. (I love the Sheriff, but I’m not sure if it’s enough for that). Still, I’ll give this a try 😀

  2. Yes. Read this. And everything else by this author.
