Why You Should Read This: I do not like amnesia fic, generally speaking. I have a tendency to skim the bits where the person can’t remember and start reading when they get their memory back and have to deal with the consequences of what happened while they couldn’t remember. But this fic came highly recommended, and for good reason. Due to ancient tech, Rodney forgets things that make him unhappy, like lemons…and John. And John didn’t know he made Rodney unhappy, doesn’t like that Rodney seems so much more cheerful now. And so John goes about trying to befriend Rodney again, only it doesn’t go well…at all. The sex scenes were hot too, and the plot was interesting enough to keep me engaged throughout the entire fic – no skimming by me.
