Why You Should Read This:

This series is absolutely epic and a fandom classic. There is so much that I love about this universe it’s difficult to know where to start. The main paring is a very rare one in the stargate fandom.  This series is Daniel/ Teal’c and the first story in the series made me fall in love with the pairing.

Teal’c wants Daniel to be his mate and he sets out to woo him. Daniel is flattered and attracted  to Teal’c but Junior is a big problem for him. He decides he has to get to know Junior so that he can learn to accept him, and this changes the course of everyone’s lives forever.

I really mean everything changes. I don’t want to give to much away but I really like the direction that Ladyra takes Stargate with this series.  Imagine a world where Daniel had the power to truly change things for the better for everyone. He does that and more.  I also really liked the author’s take on Junior. She does a great job of turning him into  a real character.

Daniel and Teal’c are hot and very loving. There is also Jack/Sarah in this story and it is prominent particularly in the sequel and later stories. I really enjoyed the pairing. Since Daniel has Teal’c it’s nice to see Jack happy with his ex-wife.

Later stories crossover with Atlantis and Supernatural. I really loved seeing Cas, Dean, and Sam  in this universe. Daniel works his magic on them as well. This series is completely engrossing and if you haven’t read it, I highly recommend giving it a try. Really, what are you waiting for?

  1. Ooo, interesting~

  2. Just got started on this. I have not read an enormous amount of SG1, but I have to say that so far this is quietly wonderful. I am commenting now because I am letting the computer read this to me while I do housework, and I suspect it will take a long time to finish it.

Thanks so much for reccing this. It makes folding clothes almost enjoyable.

  3. AWESOME. Over the course of a day, I read every bit of the series, and loved it. It’s a rare pairing that needs to be explored more, and it’s done absolutely beautifully, and the blending of other fandoms into this story was very smooth. A new favorite and something I’ll recommend.
