Why You Should Read This:

Jeeves & Wooster is a classic British comedy that starred Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry. If you don’t know it, it’s hilarious you  should check it out.

I had never thought to look for fan fiction in this fandom until recently. When I saw this story by Mice I couldn’t resist. Mice is one of my favorite authors from both the SGA and Sherlock fandoms. I was not disappointed.

I firmly believe you can never have to many The  Sentinel crossovers and this one is very well done. Mice does a great job of blending the Sentinel and the J&W universes together. This story is from Bertie Wooster’s point of view and his voice and characterization are perfect. Jim and Blair also make an appearance. This is  a long and interesting story. I don’t think you have to be familiar with the show to enjoy it.  If you like Sentinel Crossovers and historical settings give it a try.

  1. I haven’t even finished this yet, but I want to thank you for the rec. It captures Bertie’s voice perfectly. It is a great story.

I am beginning to think we need to add to the list of Fundamental Laws. You know, like “When somebody asks you if you are a god, you say ‘Yes'” I propose the new Law should be “There is no fandom that can’t accommodate a Sentinel fusion.”

  2. I’m so happy you liked it. It’s great isn’t it?- particularly Bertie’s voice. I haven’t read all of Mice’s fic but I’ve enjoyed all the ones i have read. Yes The sentinel is the universal crossover.
